Stardust Powder Paint is a unique plastic polymer that coats jigs and other metal lures in a durable, rubber-like coating. Lures coated in Stardust paint are nearly impervious to the toughest rocks, branches, and other cover.

If you've used traditional powder paint, you can use Stardust paint. Simply heat your jig or other metal bait using your preferred heat source, then give it a quick dip in Stardust paint. The initial Stardust coating will be rough (see the product thumbnail for an example). Return the coated lure to your heat source until the paint smooths. Heads can be dipped in cool water to speed up the curing process, otherwise hang them until cool.

**PLEASE NOTE - STARDUST POWDER PAINT MAY NOT WORK WITH TOOLS USED TO APPLY STANDARD POWDER PAINT, INCLUDING POWDER PAINT SPRAY GUNS OR FLUID BEDS. WE HAVE NOT TESTED STARDUST PAINT WITH THESE TOOLS.**

    Multiple colors

This is incredible powder paint. I did a test they judged in an ad , where I took a Jighead jig the collar didn’t pour right on, put this paint on it, then hit it with a hammer. It stayed on and I flattened the sides of the ball head jig! This stuff also mixes well if you want to make other colors not on the list. Very good stuff!

The colors arent as bright as id like. Pink is a darker pink. Yellow is a cream yellow. Chartreuse is on point. I am able to make 2 tone jigs. I recommend these for single color jigs that you will bounce off of rocks. It is a very durable paint, and top it with no bake time. 4 stars because id like to see brighter colors. Especially orange.

Unlike other paints - Very Durable

Ordered this material based upon the color and wasn't aware of the actual make up of this paint. Paint works best just dipping into bottle. Material is heavier than epoxy paint and doesn't require a bake process to harden. This stuff is tough. We fish around rocks and boulders all day here in Arizona and standard epoxy paint just gets knocked off a lead jig. This stuff has a hard rubber type feel and is very durable. Highly recommend.
