The diet of an adult pan fish, especially Bluegill and the rest of the Sunfish family, including Crappie, mainly consists of aquatic insect larvae (mayflies, caddisflies, dragonflies). That is the motivation behind the development of this mold. A mayfly larvae imitation it is, and we’ve made it in a size that fishes nicely and entices bites. The bait itself measures 2” from antennae to tail tips with the body portion itself measuring in at 1-5/16” by 5/16” dia. at its widest point.
