Jigs stick to the mold

I am also having the problem that once you pour the lead and go to take the jig out of the mold, it sticks so much to the mold that its next to impossible to remove the jig without bending the hook or damaging the lead with pliers as someone else mentioned in the reviews. I was excited to get this mold but I hardly use it because its too much of a pain to work with it.

Took a few tries to get the hang of it but I made 16 perfect heads tonight! Keeping the mold hot and smoking the cavity with a candle was the ticket!

Jig stick

I've purchased several jig molds from barlows that have all been great. I purchased this swim bait mold a while back ago and finally used it recently and I was not happy with it. My issue with this jig mold is that once youve poured the jig, it stays stuck on the mold and releasing the jig requires a lot of force, I have bent hooks trying to get the jigs out of the mold and using pliers requires you to have a very firm hold on it which with the lead being so soft, you end up damaging the jig. Maybe i got a bad one, has anyone else had this issue?
