Originally designed for use on electronics and small hardware, this vise is the perfect size for tying medium to large jigs. We've tested it with jigs up to 6 ounces, though we're confident it will firmly hold jigs larger than that.
Functions similarly to the Standard Jig Vise, though with a much lower profile, so it sits lower on your workbench. Unlike other vise heads, the shaft of our Low Profile Jig Vise head extends to the side of the jaws, instead of from the bottom. This enables the lower profile, keeping it just above the workbench surface, meaning it's far more convenient for detail work or when using a magnifying light.
Swivels 360 degrees with a single knob control head that allows for tilting up to 90 degrees. Fitted with stainless steel jaws for superior holding power. Non-marring nylon jaws also included. Mounts via three .25" counter-sunk holes (mounting hardware NOT included).
