Say “Open Wide” to saltwater game fish with a Hot Lips Jig. This basic bullet style with a wide mouth can be accented with red paint to mimic an injured fish. This jig features protruding eyes, flair collar for tying bucktail and strong O’Shaughnessy style hooks.

    I am surprised that this mold has been discontinued. Growing up in MD and fishing in the Chesapeake Bay, My dad and I caught more Rockfish with this lure than any other. I own 25 Do-It molds and this one is my favorite. I'd buy it again if I didn't already own it. My dad owned his for 40 years and I'd borrow it. I dedided to buy my own so I wouldn't borrow it so much. We would dip it in white or yellow paint. Then dot the eyes in black or red and half the time paint the mouth red. Then tie with buck tail or fishhair. It was even good for bluefish but you needed fishhair because they would tear up buck tail.
