New age chenille is an amazing tying material for Crappie and Bass jigs. It has fantastic 2- and 3-color combinations that make it easy to match any pattern or simply create an entirely new one. New age chenille is easy to work with and is similar to traditional medium, size 2 chenille. Size 2 - Medium.

Much smaller diameter than expected since it’s advertised as medium size. Colors are great no complaints there but it’s much smaller diameter than any “medium” chennille I’ve ever bought. Like I said, love the colors but I’m having to double wrap 1/16 oz jigs to get proportions to look even close to right. Would love to be able to enjoy the color selection but not worth the hassle of double wrapping smaller jigs. Just not feasible for my preferences. I gave a rating of 3 only because the colors are fantastic. But on the size and quantity for the price I give it 1 star.
The material stays on the string very well when wrapping along hook shank. Colors stay true and the extra shine may eliminate the need for flashabou. This is a great product in my opinion.
