Senko-style baits are one of the most effective baits out there, but, when it comes down to it, they're still mostly just a stick of plastic. Twitch them weightless, Texas Rig them, Rig them Wacky style, or cut them in 1/2 and fish them on a Ned Rig. Give our rat tail a try and save more than 50% over the name brand prices.
I am very impressed with the action on these baits when rigged on a weighted wacky hook. Much more motion on the fall than I originally expected because the plastic seems a bit stiffer than the name brand stick worms. I also like the great variety of patterns. If you like to use weighted wacky hooks and want to save a ton of money, I have not found a better alternative.
