For more information go to This expanding tubing is great for adding large scale patterns to painted baits. Scale tubing is very flexible and can be stretched to fit or, for larger baits, cut along its length and held in place with clips.
Unlike scale net, which lays flat, strands of scale tubing overlap, so the end effect will vary based on the angle the lure body is sprayed from. For traditional "scale" patterns, spay lure bodies from a direct, perpendicular (straight) angle. The angle of spray can be changed for more subtle scale effects or a varying patterns.
