Crescent cutters are thin wall metal tubes used to cut a crescent or curved face in plastic shad bodies. This curved face allows the shad body to fit snug to any head that is rounded at the back of the head and makes for a really nice looking lure.
Available in 2 sizes. Small is 1.9 inches long and 7/16 inch diameter. Small works well on 2 inch and 3 inch shad bodies. Large is 2.2 inches long and is 9/16 inch diameter. Large works well on 4 inch and 5 inch shad bodies. All you do is position the cutter over the shad body and push down to cut a crescent shape in the body.
