Natural lamb's wool is a very fine, dense fur with a slight krinkle. It wets very easily and is excellent for tying sinking flies. You can eliminate the use of lead wire on many sinking patterns by using lamb's wool because it wets so easily. Lamb's wool easily produces lots of bulk and shape on the fly.
